One of the brands that is focused on sustainability is Alter Eco. Friends and activist, Mathieu Senard and Edouard Rollet founded Alter Eco according to alterecofoods.com in 2005. The goal for these two friends has always been to bring delicious foods to conscious consumers. Since 2005, Alter Eco has started this brand with our planet on their minds. In 2013, they created the first commercially compostable candy wrapper in their chocolate truffle line. In 2016, they created the first commercially compostable pouch for their quinoa line.
With foundations being put in place by them to help combat climate change and inequality through regenerative agriculture, Alter Eco will always put the planet and its future first.
